Will my memories be safe in Nomii?

Yes. Nomii is built with privacy-first principles, meaning your memories are only seen if you choose to share them. We use strict data protection policies, end-to-end encryption, and never sell or share your data. Users can export or delete their data at any time.

Can I print photobooks from Nomii?

Photobook printing may be offered in the future. Currently, Nomii focuses on reducing printing and environmental impact by creating a digital memory experience that children can access over time.

Can I share memories with family in Nomii?

Yes. You can invite family members to view memories, contribute content, or help build your child’s memory collection, making it a shared and collaborative experience.

A Project Inspired by Love

Lydia shares her journey

"When my firstborn Benji arrived I remember asking other parents how they kept track of memories. Almost everyone said they were overwhelmed.

I got curious and ended up interviewing more than 100 parents. What I learned was current tools force us to keep memories in different places so we inevitably lose a lot of it.

Thinking of all the lost memories didn't just feel inconvenient, it felt completely unacceptable.

Soon after that, I took a voluntary redundancy from work and began working on my new project: Nomii app.

With the help of many parents and a few friends, we came up with something great: a simple, beautiful solution that lets parents keep growth, milestones and memories like photos videos, stories and voice recordings in one place by guiding them all the way from birth to leaving the nest.

One day I hope Nomii app will help a lot of parents to save time and remove the overwhelm by solving scattered memories."

neurodiversity & positive social impact

We are advocating for more neurodiversity in leadership roles and more inclusive workplaces.

Our founder was late diagnosed with auDHD at age 37, shortly after her son was diagnosed. She has learned to embrace her neurodiverse identity. By talking openly about her experiences she hopes to encourages other neurodiverse individuals to follow their passions and lean into their uniqeness. Read about her experience as a Audhd mum here.

Hidden Potential

Neurodiverse people are wonderfully talented, but did you know that only around 10% of Autistic people are currently working in full time roles? This speaks to corporate systems which don't yet create space for different minds to be able to reach their full potential.

Appreciate Differences

It's about letting go of rigid systems. The goal is not just to understand how different brains work, but to appreciate the differeneces by allowing environments that adjust and adapt to them.

This means leaving behind the one-size-fits all approach and nurturing talent of all types.

What is a family memory keepsake app?

A family memory keepsake app helps parents capture, organise, and preserve meaningful moments and stories with their children. Nomii will use photos, stories, voice recordings and guided prompts to help parents do this.

When will the app be ready?

We're hopeful for 2026 but as this is our first app there are new challenges to overcome and we're learning as we go. To be kept in the loop, please join the waitlist.

Will my memories be safe?

Security is paramount for Nomii. We are building a reliable, future proof and secure product that parents (including us) feel safe using. This means:

Privacy First principles - this means no one sees your memories unless they are directly shared by you.

Strict Data protection policy - we will never share or sell your data. Full stop.

End to end data encryption - this means you are safeguarded against unauthorized access during both memory creation and storage.

A first-party data strategy: a few high quality, hand picked, unintrusive ads that will allow us to keep the app running while maintaining user privacy.

User owned: You will be able to export / erase your own data at any time of their own choosing.

Will I be able to I print photobooks?

It's possible this could included later but currently we are focusing on reducing our carbon footprint and that means less printing.

One unique feature of ours will be an ability to give children access to their memory collection. Parents will be able to do this at a time of their choosing.

We're also exploring more ways to let users revisit memories that haven't yet been done. More will be revealed soon.

Will I be able to share memories with family?

Yes. Users will be able to send email "digests" to family with our first release but we plan on developing "Follower" accounts as soon as we can in later versions. That would mean you can invite family and friends via a secure link to download Nomii and see memories in a child's archive.
In our roadmap we also have plans to allow parents to request memories from family members like stories told over voice recording or video.

Is Nomii like a digital baby book?

Yes, Nomii will be very much like digital baby book that spans accross all of childhood from baby to leaving the nest, with added features like prompts, storytelling tools, growth trackers, forever messages and timelapses.
